Prince Harry’s biography does not want to stay between its covers. The touted book has already been heavily discussed before its publication on January 10.
A few days ago some copies of Prince Harry’s memoir, described as bitter, by the youngest son of the royal family, *Spare*, were already on sale in Spain. The media made clever use of the situation.
The preliminary stories told about the violent quarrel between Harry and his older brother, Prince William. At the end of the argument, Harry says William grabbed his brother by the collar and slammed him to the floor.
The book is also said to have a chapter where Harry goes through his military career. He says that he killed 25 insurgents in Afghanistan during the operations of the British forces. Harry’s description of how he snapped insurgents like pieces on a chessboard has drawn disapproval from war veterans and Afghans alike.
Now Harry’s bitterness towards his family is condensed in recent TV interviews.
The column published by *The Sun* magazine spawned a record number of complaints to the British Public Speech Council, i.e. the Independent Press Standards organization. The magazine later apologized for the article and the column was widely condemned, among other things, for the misogyny it contained.
Clarkson is a former host of the popular *Top Gear* show and currently hosts England’s *Do you want to be a millionaire* quiz show. In his column, he said that he hates Duchess Meghan and hopes that she will have to walk through the cities of England naked and the people will shout: \”Shame!\”.
Hovi did not comment on the uproar created by the column in any way, and Harry found the silence crushing.
Harry: Camilla pressured the media to be more favorable to her
Harry says he was pressured by his current consort, Camilla, into the media to polish her public image after she married the current king in 2005.
In Harry’s opinion, Camilla turned out to be a dangerous power user at the time. According to the BBC, Harry’s statement reveals the prince’s long-held distrust of the media.
According to the prince, there are ambiguities in Diana’s death
Prince Harry has to ignore his mother’s death in an interview with the ITV company. He is asked if he feels that something about the accident is still bothering him or lacking an explanation.
Harry replies that he thinks there is plenty of ambiguity. However, he has not advocated the initiation of a new investigation, even though there have been glimpses of one.
Harry finds it touching that even in the US everyone seems to remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard about Diana’s death.
In Finland, the book will be published on January 19 under the name *Varamies*, which describes well both the original title of the work and its spirit.
The title of the work is related to a family story. In it, Charles thanks his then-wife Diana for giving her husband an heir and a spare and thus fulfilling his mission.
