Imatra Valtionhotel owner works hard to find a new owner – negotiations with hotel company underway
Pandox, the owner of the state hotel property, is trying to avoid a disruption in the hotel’s operations. Scandic, the current hotel operator, will close the Valtionhotel at the end of August.
Negotiations to find a new operator for the Imatra State Hotel are ongoing.
Pandox, the owner of the state hotel property, is currently negotiating with a hotel company interested in running the operation.
As recently as last week, two interested parties were involved in the negotiations. At the moment, Pandox is focusing on negotiations with a small hotel company that also runs operations in other hotels.
The hotel chain Scandic said in April it would stop running the Imatra State Hotel at the end of August. Scandic has been in Imatra since 2018.
The State Hotel has been operating on the brink of Imatrankoski in Finland for over 120 years.
