Escape facilities have been acquired for Nastola’s health and safety center, because the old health center building had to be taken out of use due to its poor condition.

The Päijät-Häme welfare area has set aside more than one million euros for the year 2023 to move the project forward.

This year, the Päijät-Häme welfare area will update the plan for Nastola’s new welfare center.

The project has been delayed for many reasons, and currently Lahti’s Nastola health and safety center operates in emergency rooms.

The welfare area has now received permission from the state to implement the project. The Sote center is still being planned in the area of \u200b\u200bthe Rakokivi business center.

The original plan for Nastola’s new health and safety center was drawn up three years ago and it needs to be updated. The cost estimate must also be recalculated.

The welfare area has set aside 1.3 million euros for the promotion of the project this year.
