The Päijät-Häme Welfare Region is making a large number of its word processors redundant.

The need for word processors has decreased with the advent of speech recognition solutions.

The cooperation procedure concerning the text processors in the Päijät-Häme welfare area ended. The collective bargaining negotiations concerned thirty permanently employed copywriters.

As a result of the negotiations, the welfare region will dismiss 23 permanent word processors.

According to a press release from the Wellbeing Region, the workload of word processors has been substantially reduced thanks to the speech recognition solutions piloted at the Wellbeing Region.
