Thus artificial intelligence enhances doctors’ work in the health of the ridge
The artificial intelligence program helps doctors record the conversation with the patient. This leaves the doctors more time to meet patients.
In four municipalities in Päijät -Häme, Harju Health, which runs war centers, enhances patient work and improves the coping of nursing staff through artificial intelligence.
For a month, artificial intelligence has been used in unhurried doctor’s receptions. With the permission of the patient, the reception discussion is recorded and artificial intelligence draws up a draft entry. Your doctor will check the information and transfer it to the actual system. The recording will not be recovered anywhere after this.
Currently, over a third of the doctors of the Lahti Sote Center are trained for use by an artificial intelligence program. The aim is also to train the rest of the doctors and other staff.
The intention is that the Taika writing assist will also be introduced with Harju Health Emergency Receptions.
Doctors’ time is saved for patients
The program saves physicians’ time to meet patients. Internationally, artificial intelligence has saved doctors’ time up to two hours a day.
The time saved will allow doctors to either spend more time with the patient or meet more patients during the day.
In addition, recording guides the doctor to speak out loud about his findings because artificial intelligence cannot record anything that has not been said out loud. This gives the patient more information about their situation.
Orre estimates that the potential of artificial intelligence in patient work is still limited because the use must be safe for patient information.
– The utilization of artificial intelligence in writing is a spearhead in primary health care, where artificial intelligence is genuine for both a professional and a patient. Now we have no other tools on the artificial intelligence side, but of course they are under development, says Orre.
