Former Eurovision Consorters are demanding that Israel’s boycott – also Finns
More than 70 people have signed a petition demanding that Israel out of this year’s visa.

Former Eurovision representatives, in an open letter, are calling for the participation of Israel and its national broadcasting company KAN in the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.
The open letter invokes Gaza’s hopeless situation. The signatories of the letter do not accept the decades of occupation, oppression and war against the Palestinians by Israel.
To Israel boomed last year
Israeli boycotts have been required several times from EBU. Finns have also appealed to the Finnish Broadcasting Company to get Israel out of Eurovision. More than 10,000 citizens and cultural influencers signed a petition, which was given to the Finnish Broadcasting Company in March.
Last year, Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest was also opposed. Demonstrations were seen in Malmö, Sweden, during the visa.
