The maintenance of the tracks is in many places to be discontinued or running out. The ski rollers continue at the mercy of nature.

Most of the Lapland ski resorts have stopped maintaining the trails for this season, but there are tracks for self -employed skier.

For example, Levi still has about 35 kilometers of trails open. There, maintenance will continue as long as the weather allows. Usually, Levi is treated around Mother’s Day.

In Kolar’s Ylläs, the tracks were run for the last time on Monday. In Saariselkä, the final service day is May 3.

The lack of skiers stops the skiing service

The end of the trails does not mean that you cannot ski on the tracks. The aftermath of the end of the service is dependent on the weather conditions and the skier’s enthusiasm.
