According to the pre -plan, the Lahti Ice Hall would hold about 7,000 spectators in the future.

Lahden Jäähalli Oy wants to convert the Lahti Old Ice Hall into a modern multifunctional hall.

According to the plan, there would be more than 7,000 spectators in the renewed hall, which is significantly more than the capacity of the hall now. In addition to the auditorium, new stations, restaurants, indoor heating facilities and locker rooms would be built in the ice rink.

The adhesive arches of the current hall are original and must be renewed anyway in the near future.

There is also a preliminary price tag for work – the cost estimate will increase to about EUR 45 million.

The hall company has commissioned a pre -plan for the renovation and expansion of Isku Areena. The plan has been prepared by Large Arkkitehdit Oy in cooperation with Ramboll Finland.
