A village school closed 20 years ago is to be turned into a holiday destination offering tourists a luxury experience of tranquillity and everyday life.
The old village school in Norvajärvi, Rovaniemi, which closed 20 years ago, is being renovated into suites and apartments. Log cabins and an open-air spa will also be built on the site.
A new luxury resort for tourists is being opened in and around the old school building in Rovaniemi’s Norvajärvi. Visitors are already being put on a “waiting list”, although the site is not expected to be completed until the end of the year.
