The SDP and the Coalition Party were clearly the most popular parties in all districts of Lahti. The third most popular party varies between districts.

The SDP and the Coalition Party were the two largest parties in all districts of Lahti.

The SDP was the most popular party in most of the districts, but the Coalition Party was number one in Karisto, Renkomäki, Lahti city centre, Niemi and Jalkaranta.

Differences between districts become more pronounced when looking at the third most popular party.

Pro Lahti was the third most popular party in Ahtiala, Renkomäki, Laune-Nikkilä, Mukkula-Kilpenä, Kärpää and Liipola, where it was greatest.

Pro Lahti accounted for 10.5 of Liipola’s votes.

The Left Alliance was the third largest in Möysä, downtown, peninsula, Paavola and Kiveriö.

The greatest support of the Left Alliance was in Paavola and Kiveriö. 11.7 % of both votes went to the Left Alliance.

The Finns were the third largest in Kivimaa, Hennala, Pirttiharju-Metsäkangas and Kirkonkylä-Nastonharju. The party received its highest support percentage just in Kirkonkylä-Nastolanharju, where 10 % of the vote went to the Finns.

The Greens were the third most popular party in the mansion, the foot beach and the station, with the highest support of 11.4 percent.

Minerva Kastehelmi (Greens), who got the third most votes, was number one in Jalkaranta and Kiveriö.

The center was the third most popular in the Kunnas Pyhäta and in Uusikylä-Rakivivi. Support was highest in the latter, with 11 percent.

In addition to Karisto, KD’s strong areas were Ersta-Villähti, with a support of 11.5 %.

Strong areas for vocal cavities

Kari took the number one place in most neighborhoods, Länsi-Lahti and near the city center. His strongest area was Kärpänen. There, 6.5 percent of the vote went to Mika Kari.

Aaltonen was the most popular candidate in Renkomäki. The second most popular he was in the station, Central Lahti, Kivimaa, Kärpänen, Laune-Nikkilä, Mukkula and Pirttiharju-Metsäkangas.

In Lahti, only 49.7 % of those entitled to vote went to vote.
