In Lahti, a mass brawl after the Pelicans-Jokerit match: six were arrested and one criminal complaint was filed

A scuffle broke out in Lahti after the Pelicans and Jokerit match on Saturday evening. The police will provide more information today.

After a hockey match between Pelicans and Jokerit, a scuffle broke out outside Lahti’s Isku Arena on Saturday.

Pelicans took their second win in the SM-liiga qualifying series. Jokerit lost 2-0.

After the game, emotions ran high among the people outside the hall.

– There were at least 12 police patrols and a lot of law enforcement officers. There was also an ambulance and a fire truck arrived, says eyewitness to Yle.

Yle has seen pictures and videos from the scene.

According to police, post -match events outside the hall spawned one crime report and six catching.

Police are investigating the event as an assault and announcing more on Sunday during the day.
