Foreign tourists brought EUR 1.2 billion to Finland during the winter season

A total of 1.24 foreign tourists from 88 countries visited Finland between December and February. They brought a total of EUR 1.23 billion to Finland, says Business Finland.

The number of trips increased by seven percent. The spending of money is 15 % more than previous winter.

Mainly spending money consists of accommodation, restaurants and cafes, fuel, mobility, culture, sports and recreation, and shopping. The amount does not include money spent on air and ship tickets.
