The 14-year-old was threatened with a jungle knife and a starter pistol-conditional imprisonment and fines for young authors

The Päijät-Häme District Court has sentenced a number of young people to imprisonment and fine for violence against other young people. There are a total of fourteen lawyers.

Seven young people were sentenced to conditional imprisonment and fines for the acts of violence against other teenagers in the Päijät-Häme District Court.

The prosecutor demanded penalties for five young people, for example, for violent crimes against other teenagers. One of the victims was a 14-year-old boy. He was threatened with violence verbally. During the act, the boy was flashed from the starter pistol and the jungle.

The accused were minors at the time of the work. In addition, the prosecutor demanded penalties for two adult men.

The judgments came from, among other things, assault, robbery, imprisonment, coercion and firearms offense committed as young people.

The convicts committed crimes in Lahti and Heinola between 2022 and 2024. Some of the deeds were directed at other underage young people. There were a total of fourteen lawyers in the case.

The convicted are now 17-21 years old. At the time of the crime, five of them were under 18 years of age.

One of the sentenced persons received conditional imprisonment by 7 months, two to 6 months and one 4 months. Three of the convicted were imposed on daily fines. With young people’s income, it means fines from over five hundred euros to over a thousand euros.
