Construction of Laune Skate Place starts in Lahti – the area off all summer

The skateboard is expected to be completed by the end of October. The opening will be celebrated next spring.

The construction of Laune’s new skateboard will begin on Thursday, April 10.

A central park is being built an area where you can skate

Also roller skating, stunt bikes and sitting.

Initially, the old skateboard and roller skating course will be dismantled. Old materials are reused as much as possible.

The colors of the skateboard are the colors of the Lahti city brand, light blue, barley yellow and light orange. The colors are reflected in the materials and the paintings on the surface of the asphalt.

The area is not at all in use during construction. The skateboard is scheduled to be completed by the end of October, the opening will be celebrated next spring.
