More than 31,600 overnight stays in Raahe were recorded last year. It is about 3,750 more than a year earlier. The largest growth figures were seen in the summer.
Last year, there was a good boost in tourism in the Raahe region. The largest growth was recorded in May-July, when, for example, the number of foreign travelers more than doubled.
The overall stays of international and domestic tourists were strong in Raahe in the summer, more than 30 percent, increased.

A total of more than 31,600 overnight stays in the Raahe region were registered last year. It is about 3,750 more than in 2023.
Wanha Raahe at the center of tourism marketing
Raahe’s old city is considered one of the best preserved in the 19th century wooden house in Finland. The downtown protected area has about 150 wooden buildings and two hundred economic buildings.
