Artist Olga knows what female hatred is

– Other high school friends performed in bigger movies and series. I was jealous. I thought I was nothing because I’m just here in Salkkari.

Heikkala had written music by himself, but had not dared to show it to anyone.

Olga sighs deeply.

He cannot understand that conservatism, female hatred, homophobicity and racism are on the surface.

The singer has followed with mixed feelings of what is happening in the United States. He would like to go to New York and Los Angeles, but can’t.

Olga thinks it is worrying that the same is noticeable in Finland.

– Schools teach equality, but everything goes worse all the time, the artist is amazed.

Nor is the singer enough to understand how little culture is valued. In his view, decision -makers do not understand how unfair surgery is for people in the industry and, above all, for those consuming culture.

– Culture is vital. People need gentle and fun content in the midst of difficult times. When culture is cut, it only increases people’s malaise.

Olga says he himself has not always been doing well. He has had an eating disorder and depression. He also understands that spring and light makes people get depressed.

His latest song * Lights Camera Action * tells about one moment when he can feel bad. Public presses seemed insurmountable and when I left home I had to put emotions hiding emotions.
