Britain Separate Travel Permit from Wednesday

Travelers to Britain with a European passport will need a separate permit attached to the passport from Wednesday.

This EEA travel permit is applied for either online or with a phone application. British authorities indicate that permission is usually obtained within three working days, but it may come faster or slower.

The permit is valid for two years, but if the passport changes before that, the permit must be renewed as it is passport -specific. The permit costs around € 12 according to course fluctuations.
