Actor Richard Chamberlain is dead

Richard Chamberlain rose to fame in the 1960s with the NBC drama series Kildare. According to the New York Times, he received an average of 12,000 letters per week during the five -year life cycle.

Chamberlain has also been seen on Finnish television in the mini -series Shogun (1980) and the Okal Birds (1983), both of which he also won the Golden Globe Prize.
