Allergy sufferers face a tough time

Allergy sufferers could be in for a very sticky pollen season, predicts the Natural Resources Institute Finland.

According to Luke, birch blossoming is expected to be more abundant than it has been in the past ten years. In northern Finland, birch trees may even reach record levels.

In southern Finland, birch blossoming usually starts in early May at the latest.
