On Saturday, the temperature in Lahti was well above zero and the sun was shining full blast in the stands.

According to the organisers, the crowd on Saturday was up to 28 000. You could see and feel it.

At the time of the couple’s sprint, the curve was so full of people that the law enforcement officers had to turn the crowd from the gate of the audience.

For many guests, the Salpausselkä Games are a tradition. The race has been a child since childhood.
