Two men jailed for burglary of fuel vending machines – with the smallest haul being tens of euros
The first burglary took place in February in Asikkala and the latest in early March in Tuuloksi.
The Häme police are investigating a series of crimes in which two men are suspected of breaking into fuel vending machine cash containers a total of five times during the early part of the year in Kanta and Päijät-Häme.
One of the men is about 45 years old and the other 25. One of the men is from Hollola and the other from Orimattila. They are not related to each other.
According to a police release, the first burglary of a fuel vending machine took place in February in Asikkala.
The latest burglary took place on March 10 in Tuulos. In addition, men are suspected of doing similar acts in Heinola, Padasjoki and Hollola.
After a break in Tuulos, the men leave the place by car, which resulted in good blood signs. Police patrols were sent from Hämeenlinna, Lahti and Tampere towards Tuulla to check and close the men’s supposed exit directions.
