There was a demand for entrepreneurship

The purpose of the application process was to find an entrepreneur with experience in the campsite, accommodation or restaurant industry.

During the application period, 16 individuals or companies reported their interests. In addition, one enrolled at the end of the application period.

Seven of the applicants were invited to interviews. Five of them left the rental offer by the deadline.

According to the city, the business plan of Vuorela and Simsiö highlighted concrete development plans for the Rasua campsite and its restaurant operations.

The decision of the Board of Vitality will become final in April.

The city took control of the campsite in 2022. Before that, the area was spun for about twenty years to Pesälomailu Oy.

Contrary to instructions, additional land and fixed structures had been brought to the area. The ancient memorials had also been interfered.
