Harju Health CEO: The GP would require one hundred new health center physicians in Päijät-Häme
According to Petja Orre, the receding CEO of Harju Health, the implementation of the GP is unrealistic in Päijät-Häme.
According to Orre, implementing a pure medical model is an unrealistic goal.
Harju’s health preferably guides patients to the professional the patient’s discomfort. If necessary, a multidisciplinary team consults with a doctor.
– We should have double the number of health center doctors compared to the present. Of course it costs. In the near future, I do not see as realistic, where there would be hundreds of doctors who want to do 100 % or even 80 % in Päijät-Häme, says Orre.
Harju Health provides basic military services in Lahti, Iit, Kärkölä and Hartola.
The Päijät-Häme welfare area said in the early part of the year that it will be introduced in its own war centers, at least in the familiar treatment relationships.
Harju Health CEO changes
Orre, who has been Managing Director of Harju Health since 2022, will be responsible for Mehiläinen’s primary health care business from the beginning of March.
Honkanen is currently the Director of Health Services and has been involved in Harju’s health since its foundation.
The agreement between Mehiläinen and Päijät-Häme welfare area will continue until 2040.
