Harju Health started its operations in Lahti, Iitti and Kärkölä in 2021, and later expanded to Hartola.

Last year, the digital clinic already had almost 100 000 visits.

Harjun Terveys, a joint venture between the Päijät-Häme Welfare Region and Mehiläinen, has achieved a positive financial result for the first time in its history.

Last year, the company’s profit was almost half a million euros and turnover rose to around 43 million euros.

According to Harju’s Health, the positive result has been achieved by streamlining operations, cutting back on purchases and maintaining a tight financial rein.

In outpatient care, nearly 90 % and in oral health care 96 % of patients were treated in less than two weeks.

There are about 650 war professionals working in Harju’s health. Full -time people account for 54 % of the personnel, or 345 man -years.

The turnover of permanent staff increased slightly to 16 %. A year earlier, staff turnover was 12 %.
