Lahti Kujala murder investigation changed to four manslaughter charges – victim found dead in burnt house
The prosecutor has filed charges against four people in the Päijät-Häme District Court for the homicide that took place in Kujala last August.
Charges have been brought against four people in the Lahti Kujala homicide at the Päijät-Häme District Court. The victim of the crime was found dead in a burnt house in early August.
The regional prosecutor is seeking convictions for manslaughter and aggravated robbery, among other offences. The police investigated the case as a murder, but the prosecution considers that the investigation shows that there was no premeditation of the murder.
The police preliminary investigation report is over a thousand pages long and nearly 30 people were questioned during the preliminary investigation.
The suspects have been in custody since last fall. Last today, for one of the accused, the district court has decided on a re -prisoner.
An application for a summons for the district court has been submitted this week.
