Foreign tourists spent around EUR 3.7 billion in Finland

Foreign tourists spent around EUR 3.8 billion in Finland last year, says Business Finland.

According to Business Finland, tourists made a total of 4.9 million trips to Finland and spent an average of EUR 764 per trip. 74% of these trips were leisure trips and 26% business trips.

Tourists came from 106 countries and visited 221 destinations.

In terms of the number of trips, the month with the highest number of visitors last year was August, when 562 000 tourists visited Finland.
