Winter holidays start in parts of Finland on Monday. With the holidays, travel increases both within Finland and abroad.

When travelling, you may be infected with a nasty pest – bedbugs.

The larvae can be identified by the dark spots that can be seen on the bed’s underside. Although small, it is also possible to detect them visually, especially when they are moving.

They may also nest in, for example, aircraft or other means of transport and migrate with clothing or luggage to home.
