Jämsä is looking for an entrepreneur at the Rasua campsite – this kind of experience with the city hopes

The recent years of the campsite on the shore of Kankarisvesi have been rich.

The city of Jämsä is looking for an experienced entrepreneur at the Rasua campsite on a quick schedule with Rasua Relax, for example, due to unpaid rent. The company was only running the campsite for a couple of years.

Jämsä hopes that the new entrepreneur will have experience in camping or accommodation and restaurant activities. Entrepreneurs can register by February 20th.

Those interested in running the campsite will be interviewed and, for part, requests for offers and business plans and information on previous business.

The Jämsä Vitality Committee will decide on the new entrepreneur in April on the basis of a proposal for the selection team.

The city hopes that a new entrepreneur can start in Rasua this summer.

The area was treated abused

North of Jämsänkoski, the recent years of the Rasua campsite on the shore of Kankarisvesi have been phased.

The city took control of the campsite in 2022. Before that, the area was spun for about twenty years to Pesälomailu Oy.

Contrary to instructions, additional land and fixed structures had been built in the area. The ancient memorials had also been interfered.

Local residents have participated in cleaning the campsite.

Jämsä requires Rasua’s entrepreneur to stay in the free use of residents and tourists.
