One generational experience of the early 2000s spends years today. Namely, the video game series The Sims’ first game has been exactly 25 years.

The Sims is a life simulation game that modifies and directs characters called Sime in different areas of life. In addition, you can build and decorate your own house in the game.

The first SIMS game was released on February 4, 2000. Since then, three sequels have been released from the game and a countless number of add-ons where the game can, for example, study at university or get a pet.

Electronic Arts, the game’s junior, celebrated the anniversary as early as January by publishing the original The Sims 1 and 2 games again for PC.

The Sims is also becoming a movie. Electronic Arts confirmed the rumors in September last year, and the film will be made together with Amazon MGM Studios. The authors have promised that elements familiar to players, such as a swimming pool without a ladder, flashes.
