Kärkölä wants a more attractive tourist destination from Huovila Park

Kärkölä wants to develop Huovila Park as a tourist destination for a new level. Huovila is currently a landscape park where there is a local museum maintained by the Kärkölä Society.

The municipality needs new adventurous and ecologically sustainable plans to attract visitors.

Plans are to create a restaurant that offers local delicacies and surprising taste experiences.

Designers are also hoped to present ecologically sustainable accommodation.

Five bids for the plan have received the municipality. The Education and Welfare Board will later select the designer.
