The municipality of Suomussalmi is looking for an entrepreneur at the Raatte Port Museum

The Raatte Port Museum has been renovated in 2014 will have 300 square meters of exhibition space.

The history of the Raatteentie roads to the Raatte Port Museum not only domestic but also internationally. Approximately 25,000 visitors visit the place each year.

The municipality of Suomussalmi is looking for an entrepreneur at the Raatte Port Museum on Raatteentie.

The lease of the current entrepreneur ends at the end of September 2026.

The municipality of Suomussalmi asks those interested in practicing Raatte Port’s activities to inform the municipality by February 25th.

Registers are asked to report freely about their background and the key persons of the company who would be operationally responsible for the business.

The municipality assesses the suitability of the candidates for business, taking into account, among other things, experience and competence, and national and international networks in military history context, and the previous entrepreneurial experience.

The exhibition space of more than 300 square meters of Raatte Port in 2014 includes a wide range of the history of the Winter and Continuation War.

The history of the Raatteentie is widely known and the museum leads to visitors not only in Finland but also internationally.

There are about 25,000 visitors every year at the Raatte Port.
