Alko in the center of Lahti goes to renovation
Alko will be closed at the same time as the Cooperative Society begins to reform in its shop.
The Lahti Sokos Alko store will be closed for two months due to the renovation. The store will close on February 23 and will open again on 25 April.
Other Alko stores in Lahti will serve normally during the renovation.
Alko closes its shop at the same time as the cooperative Hämeenmaa renews the passage to S-market downstairs in Sokos.
The cooperative will change the position of the escalators leading to the grocery store so that the access is directed from the entrance to Aleksanterinkatu. This allows the supermarket to be extended outside Sokos’s opening hours.
During the summer, the S-market will be closed for some time due to the modifications to be done there. The renovation of the department store will not be affected by the department store. Hämeenmaa says it will spend EUR 7 million in the reform.
