After a year’s break, the Art Museum opens a new collection exhibition entitled The Question of Time.
The Ateneum will open its doors to the public again on 14 April 2023. The museum was closed in March 2022 for a ventilation renovation. Changes will be made to the Ateneum’s museum shop, toilets and the entrance to the Ateneuminkuja.
There will be three exhibitions next year. The first is a new exhibition of the collection *The Question of Time*, which will be on display for several years. The exhibition will highlight the burning issues of the 21st century while looking at how the Ateneum’s collections have evolved.
Edelfelt returns home
In 2023, the Ateneum will host two temporary exhibitions. Both will feature works that have never been seen in Finland before.
