Lahti Kisapuisto’s new artificial turf tender is in the final stages

An error was discovered in the call for tenders last week, which was quickly corrected.

A tender is currently underway to find a new artificial turf builder for Lahti’s Kisapuisto stadium.

The procurement procedure was suspended on 8 January after an error was discovered in the tender specifications relating to the field fillers.

According to the revised request, the artificial turf, the flex layer and the heating pipes and irrigation system of the Kisapuisto stadium will be replaced. The old artificial turf at Kisapuisto stadium will be moved and installed at Karisto field.

Bids must be submitted no later than January 29.

The wear and tear of the court surface has a significant impact on safe training and playing.

The artificial turf contract for the race park is scheduled to be completed by Midsummer.
