The arts promotion center Taike has awarded a special grant to the joint project of the Southern Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia federations and KulturÖsterbotten *\”Word art for the elderly – Ordkonst för äldre\”.*
The project, which will start at the beginning of next year, will make word art familiar and accessible not only in the area of \u200b\u200bthe two provinces and in the city of Kokkola, but also more widely in Finland. The project is managed by the Southern Ostrobothnia Association.
The project aims to make both word art as an art form and cultural well-being as a concept better known, which contributes to the employment of art and culture creators.
Finnish and Swedish service centers will participate in the pilot, it is hoped that libraries will also be interested. The content is distributed on the national and free KotiTV channel.
